This travel system is like every other travel system, I suppose. The car seat locks into the stroller. Then you can close both sides so that your baby is completely covered. If you are trying to decide if you should purchase a travel system or a seat that grows with your child, I would say the travel system. It's so much easier to move them from one place to another without waking them up. I wish my daughter was still easily moved!
