This one may do the job for you if you leave it in one car all the time. This is the heaviest car seat I have ever encountered - it ways more than twice than some other seats. We typically rent cars so carrying it is really a drag - especially if you need to carry more than one. Forget about taking them through an airport or on an airplane. It's like carrying another baby with you. Another flaw is that the straps are too short and difficult to extend. Graco makes some nice products but this one should be clearly labeled "not portable".
